About The Libertarian Party:
The Libertarian Party is the only political party in America
fighting for individual rights and against our out-of-control government
that spends too much, taxes too much and interferes with your personal
life too much. The only political party that believes that you, as an individual,
should be able to make the decisions about your life. The only political
party that believes in Individual Liberty and Individual Responsibility
on all issues:
Libertarians, and the Libertarian Party believe in your
right:

To keep 100% of what you earn. We don't believe in the forced
redistribution of wealth.

To own a gun to protect yourself. The Second Amendment isn't
about duck hunting. It's, as a wise man once said, "...as a last resort
to defend against tyranny...."- Thomas Jefferson.

To choose your own way of life. The law should protect all
people, married or single, straight or gay, conventional or unorthodox.
Government shouldn't use taxes or other penalties against lifestyles it
doesn't approve of.

To read and view what you choose. No group of people should
control what others see or hear.

To make your own decisions about what you eat, drink or smoke.
In summary, Libertarians, and the Libertarian Party believe
you
should
be able to control your own life. As long as you don't harm others, or
violate others rights, you should be free to do as you choose. That government
should punish murderers, rapists and thieves, otherwise, leave the rest
of us alone.
