Membership and Meeting Info:
Located in  Rohner Park , Fortuna behind the rodeo grandstands.
12.5 yard and 25 yard targets are provided
No pistols over .45 cal. No shotguns. No rifles above .22 magnum
Open to the public every Wedneday evening from 7 to 9pm, except holidays.
Open to members Monday thru Saturday 9am to 9pm, Sundays 9am to noon
Open to Ladies Only on the 1st Monday of each month - start time is 7pm
NOTE: A Range Officer must be on duty for all shooting - please call 707-725-1505
to verify that a Range Officer will be at the range.
Shooting fees for members: $2.00  Non-members: $5.00, Fortuna Police Officers: Free
Memberships are available at the Fortuna Pistol Club Range , or by contacting Rick or Carrie Jennings. Single Membership is $45.00. Family membership is $65.00. Membership is always due on January 1 (half price after July 1 for new members). Club meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Rohner Recreation Hall, classroom side, starting at 6:30 pm. Contact Rick or Carrie Jennings for further information.
FORTUNA PISTOL RANGE RULES
1.  Range Officers
            a.  You must notify the Fortuna Police Dept. before & after you shoot.
            b.  After entering the Grandstand gate, leave the gate open.  When leaving, leave the gate
                  as you found it.  If the gate was locked, re-lock it by leaving one lock in the gatepost
                  ring and the other padlock as a link in the chain so that NO ONE is locked out.
            c.  Put up the RED FLAG to indicate that the range is in use.  Take it down when leaving.
            d.  Re-bar firing stations.  Lock all cabinets, front door & gate.  Re-lock the Grandstand
                  gate (refer to #1b above).
2.  Shooters must sign in & pay the fee - $2.00 for members, $5.00 for non-members/guests.
     Youths 16 years old or younger may shoot for free with a responsible, paying adult.
     Fortuna Police Officers may shoot for free, but they must have their ID - they must also
     sign in & indicate that they are a police officer on the sign in sheet.
3.  Anyone at the range who is under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
4.  Guns allowed:  Pistols - .45 cal and under only; Rifles - .17 thru .22 mag only; No Shotguns
5.  All firearms MUST be kept pointed down range at all times.
6.  No firearm is to be handled, displayed or exhibited behind the white line.  Guns are to be
     removed from holsters, cases or other carrying devices at the shooting bench & left there
     during the stay at the range.
7.  All firearms on the line are be made SAFE:  Cylinders must be empty & open and
     Magazines must be out & slides locked open  - BEFORE any person is to leave the bench or
     go downrange.
8.  NO ONE IS TO GO IN FRONT OF THE RED LINE WHILE ANYONE IS DOWNRANGE
9.  Before leaving, clean up your brass and/or other items.
10.  NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT ANY TIME AT THE RANGE.

Info on Carrying Concealed Weapons (CCW) Permits:
(The info below applies to requalification held by the Fortuna Pistol Club, only.)
Qualifications:

To qualify for a permit to carry a concealed weapon, the Sheriff's Dept. requires;

                                                             -NRA Personal Protection Class (NPPC)-
The NPPC taught by instructors of the Fortuna Pistol Club is a 12 hour class and is by pre-registration only.  The fee is $65.00.  Contact Rick Jennings at (707) 725-1505 for more information and when the next class is available.

CCW Requalification:

CCW requalifications are held at the Fortuna Pistol Club by appointment only.  The fee is
$35.00.  This involves a State mandated four (4) hour class.  All those requalifying must shoot
each gun listed on their permit (a maximum of 3) a minimum of 50 rounds.  You must
demonstrate the loading of one magazine during the firing of each semi-auto.  Serial numbers of
handguns will be checked to assure they are the ones listed on your permit.  Call Rick or Carrie
