Marty: Update the MarinLP website with the new bi-monthly meeting schedule – 7-9 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each odd month.
Dan: Notify the MLP distribution list that the next meeting will by on 5/22/07 and that we have switched to a bi-monthly meeting on the 4th Tuesday of every odd month.
Dan, Pete, Paul: Reconcile list of dues-paying MLP and registered
Libertarian voters in Marin. 5/22/07
All MLP members Bring a local issue for discussion to the meeting.

The minutes from the February meeting were approved.
Treasurer’s Report: $830.28 balance
Mission Statement: “The Marin Libertarian Party promotes liberty in
Marin County by providing solutions that limit government influence, supporting
candidates who advocate Libertarian principles, and promoting resistance
against threats to our freedom.”
Following are strategies that the MLP will deploy toward accomplishing the mission:
Volunteer hrs Dan – 30, Pete – 1.5, Matt -10, Paul -2
Fundraising $95 was collected.
CA LP convention update: The MLP has 7 delegates: Marty, Dan, Joan, Matt, Sandy, David, Paul.
Paul will represent the MLP on the platform committee meeting on Friday
Volunteers for the convention will get a portion of their registration fee refunded ($55 credit toward day pass per 4 hours worked). Contact Dan Goltz or Terry Floyd to volunteer.

Dan will provide phone numbers of volunteers to Starchild, who will contact the volunteers to sign them up.
Activist update: MLP members will bring to future meetings timely topics to discuss and information on activism opportunities.
2007 office elections: The MLP chairperson = Matt, secretary = Paul, and treasurer = Pete.
Marin County Fair booth: The idea of hosting a Marin County Fair booth was put off until 2008 because it is a significant investment of time and money.
Marty suggested having a presence at local fairs/ farmers’ markets.
The group agreed to research local fairs/farmers’ markets for the May meeting:
Miscellaneous: Per Dan Wiener, there is no newsletter requirement
now that the MLP is active.
David suggested that we contact channel 26 to publicize our meeting schedule.
Joan offered to pay for advocates quiz package ($54).
